J-24 World Championship 2010 - Preraces nationals, second day after 6 races in BS Lagunen, Malmö

The J-24 sailors came in very tired today. Four races in shifty conditions demanded a lot to stay sharp. The wind started in 250 degrees and ended up in 100 degrees. Only 2 legs were not adjusted today. The mark boat crew were really tired as well.

Mauricio Santa Cruz and his team still have the lead. Here are they hunted by the swedish team Per-Håkan Persson.

It was not only direction that changed but also the wind strength.

Tony Parker did good today as well. Here well positioned at the leeward flag in one of the starts.

The wind sometimes really died.

Today Team Hideyuki Miyagawa lost the motor "somewhere in the area". I do not know what "övningskörning" means in japanese but in swedish it is clear. ;-)

Other crews reported about an impressive boathandling on the race course from the japanese team that are 8th crew right now.
